2013| First Generation Graduate

In the past, I compartmentalized myself - there was the Business Abbey and the Spiritual/Self Development Abbey, not a cohesive whole. I believed it was either this OR that, but life had other plans for me. I did all the "right" things. I got my undergraduate degree in Communication and Psychology, donning the cap of a first-generation college graduate and later adorning myself with a prestigious Master's degree in Communication Management/Organizational Change.

2013| Hello, Corporate America

The corporate world welcomed me, embracing my expertise in marketing and operations, where I spent over a decade honing my skills. Yet, amidst all the accolades and achievements, a deeper calling whispered in my soul.

2019| The Green Beam of Light

And then one ordinary Tuesday night, an extraordinary event unfolded. I put on headphones, turned on a YouTube meditation, and thought I went to sleep. But turns out, that's the night I woke up. A vivid green light beamed from my forehead, illuminating my path in a beautifully profound and mystical experience. The next morning, I found myself on a highway alongside a bus named New Age Coach, symbolizing my transition to a literal new age - from 33 to 34- and another profound realization dawned upon me. One definition of coach is a bus, especially one that is comfortably equipped and used for longer journeys. I recognized that life, like a long journey, needed comfort and guidance. Just like that bus, I envisioned myself as a coach, driving people through the twists and turns of life, ensuring their journey was as comfortable and transformative as possible.

And so I delved into a myriad of what some might consider new age modalities- crystal healing beds, float therapy, quantum healing hypnosis, past life regressions, ALL the yoga's, craniosacral therapy, Reiki, somatic and ecstatic practices and more- exploring the depths of healing. I immersed myself in the world of personal development, attending masterminds, coaching programs, and guru seminars. Each certification and each experience widened my perspective, unveiling the vast potential within. Rekindling my passion for writing, I contributed to wellness companies and penned poetry, eventually self-publishing a children's book and audiobook on Audible. I publicy interviewed healers, coaches, digital nomads, and new business owners. I hosted wellness and leadership events. Simultaneously I was still slaying in business, attending leadership conferences and retreats, and getting results for clients. I documented all of this on my then YouTube channel called New Age Coach.

2020| COVID, Start of 4-Year Layoffs & Birth of "I Am Abbey"

When the pandemic hit, it forced me into a 4-year pause from multiple roles. This time allowed me to rediscover who I was—or more accurately, who I wasn't anymore. It was during this period that I created I Am Abbey, a brand that went beyond my spiritual side to showcase all of me.

This was my deep dive into entrepreneurship, supporting solopreneurs in the wellness space while learning and sharing along the way. But eventually, I realized that I Am Abbey was still about me—not about you. I knew I had a broader mission to serve.

Through this time, I honed my diverse skills and finally understood that business and being were meant to come together.

2025| Bringing ALL of Me to You

Many people shy away from sharing the versions of themselves they’ve outgrown, but I believe those stories are where transformation begins. From Corporate Abbey to New Age Coach to I Am Abbey, I’ve evolved into a steward, leader, and partner in both business and being. Each stage taught me that true growth comes from embracing every part of yourself—not picking and choosing what fits.

Over the last five years, I’ve reflected, rebuilt, and learned that life isn’t about compartmentalizing who we are. It’s about integration. This realization crystallized my mission: to empower you to be fully authentic in your life and work, sharing your story and your gifts with confidence.

I’ve seen too many leaders hold back, afraid to show the world their full vision (trust me, I’ve been there). The gap between business and being is real—but it doesn’t have to stay that way.

Now, I’m here to help bridge that gap. To guide you in aligning all parts of yourself, so your business reflects who you truly are and fuels your greatest potential.
